My Skincare Routine

Beauty

My skincare routine is pretty simple. I’ve written about it before. It’s very solidly French. If I’m not feeling lazy I’ll wash my face in the morning, but always again at night. I always, always take a shower before bed. I only use La Roche Posay Effaclar Foaming Gel face wash which is pretty cheap 11€ for 400ml. I once tried to use something else and it caused horrible cystic acne on my jawline that took months to completely heal. It was pretty awful. I have never in my life experienced that before.

Morning:

Lierac Radiance Serum 51€

Filorga Lift Structure Moisturizer 60€

Lierac Diopticerne Eye Cream 20€

Typology Plumping Lip Serum 18€

Typology Eyelash Serum 15€

At night:

La Roche Posay Hylau B5 Serum 35€

Filorga Sleep and Lift 60€

Lierac Diopticerne Eye Cream 20€ (same as day)

Grande Lash Serum 70€

Grande Brow Serum 70€

Grande Lip Mask 25€

I have other bits and bobs like my A-Derma Cica baume lèvres, Filorga eye cream and lip plumper, Masque Bar antirides sheet masks, my Filorga scrub mask (used twice a week in the shower), some The Ordinary serums that I don’t really use often, and of course I exclusively use Cica Biafine for body (shower gel, body milk, and hand, and foot cream).

My skincare is a bit pricey, though certainly not the most expensive out there. I usually offset that by bulk buying during Monoprix’s parapharmacie sale. Lierac is probably the priciest of the bunch and rarely has sales, but sometimes you can find a good promo code at Nocibe, Marionnaud, etc.
